Jordan's few days before he went into the MTC

So Jeff, Leah, and Jordan came in on Sunday night to Provo, Utah to get him ready to go on his mission.... a little shopping left to do.  So his cousins, who had drove from Fruitland, ID to see him before he left, spent the day with us.  So after a great breakfast at Kneaders, we headed to Mr. Mac to conquer the clothes shopping. His cousins gave him great advice on ties but he opted for the more plain colors like blue and black.  Done in an hour, we were ready to go!!

This is Jordan with his cousins in front of the store.  They were ready to help him look like a stylin missionary!!

In the afternoon, he got to have a few last minute laughs with his cousins... playing games and goofing around.  He was thrilled to be able to see his cousins before he left. Jd Nielson is on the left, sitting on Hannah, and Lauren, then Jordan in the middle next to Karli, then Jami and McCall.  Joslin and Kaitlin Farmer are in the back.

This is Monday night at Malawis in Provo, Ut. Jordan got to see his sister, Jocelyn, before she left to London, England in the morning.  She left on Tuesday morning for a 6 week study abroad program.  They gave each other a hug but no crying for those two "non" criers.

On Tuesday, we took a trip down to Salt Lake City to visit the temple grounds and to check out City Creek.  It was beautiful on the grounds and a nice afternoon together.

Jordan's last night we ate at Tucanos. He loves that restaurant!  He got filled up on lots of meat before he entered life with food he doesn't like! Afterwards, we hooked up with his nieces, Joslin and Kaitlin Farmer at Cold Stone.  They were giving their last minute advice and laughs.

Wednesday morning..... this was it!! His last breakfast!  So we headed to Cracker Barrel and met up with his cousin, JD Nielson. It was nice to spend that time with his only other boy cousin his age.

We headed back to Mr.Mac for a different size belt.  This was it- time to head up towards the MTC.  He was ready and looking like a missionary.

We had 20 minutes to spare before his drop off time.  So we headed to the Provo temple to spend our last moments together.  It was sweet. Dad said an awesome prayer before we headed down to the drop off.

Here we are at the curbside drop off.  Jordan was ready to go and so excited to get going.  We got to give him a hug and then off he went with the other elders there assigned to pick him up. He didn't cry and was happy to go.  Only mom lost it.......

So here he goes on his newest adventure.  It will be one of the best and hardest things he will ever do!!
